General English provision:

We offer intensive (daytime), progressive (evening), and customized (anytime) courses in general English.  Students are welcome to join us whatever their previous attainment level – from complete beginners to advanced students.

A certificate will be presented to students on completion of each level, providing their class attendance is a minimum of 75%, and that they obtain a minimum of 70% on the examination.

Intensive English (daytime classes)

Our intensive programme has proved popular, particularly amongst international students from nearby countries.  We have taught students from Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Oman, China, Korea and Thailand and have recently opened representative offices in India, Vietnam and Pakistan.

The intensive programme consists of six levels (from beginner to advanced).  Each level is 12 weeks’ duration (split between two 6 week modules), which is 196 hours of classroom contact time (see chart below).  There are 17.5 hours of contact time each week, but students are also required to complete homework daily, and are advised to practice speaking English as much as possible outside the classroom.

It is possible for students to complete half a level (i.e. six weeks of intensive study).  We have experience of tailoring our programme to the particular needs of a group of students, particularly during school holidays.

Obviously, the longer students have available for study the more progress they will make and the more fluent they will become.  If, as a potential student, you wish to see exactly what you would learn on our intensive programme, the module descriptors are available from our administrative office on request.

The ideal class size for the intensive English programme is between six and 12 students, though we are able to run with fewer students. Please enquire for price information.

Progressive English (evening classes)

We offer a progressive English evening class on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7.00 until 8.30 pm, or 8.30 until 10 pm. New students can join at the start of every month, signing up for a 4 week course of study at a cost of RM120.  The progressive English course consists of six levels (from beginner to advanced), level one to level four each consists of 4 months (16 weeks).

Our classes run with a minimum of six students and a maximum of 15.

Customized English (anytime)
